Preparing A Salt Cure

Each year, in an effort to calm down the 5 Yellow flying star energy, we may place a Salt Cure or a collection of large metal weights (make sure they are not the plastic type made to look like metal). On a given date, just before the Solar New Year (which is typically February 4th), we place the salt cure in its designated spot and leave it there there entire year!

Follow the steps in the video (and as explained in the Yearly Summit Book). The placement date is given in the Summit each year.

Throughout the year, be sure to continue to add water and salt to keep it well-fed 😄 it may be very active during certain months so be sure any surfaces are well-protected from potential salt explosions. (put a rug under the cure to catch any salt that accumulates or explodes out of the container)
